An Article Processing Charge (APC) is required upon acceptance of an article. This fee covers essential costs such as DOI registration, editorial and staff support, website maintenance and security, typesetting, and other operational expenses, thereby ensuring open and unrestricted access to published content.
The current Article Processing Charge (APC) is $496, payable only if the article is accepted for publication. Upon acceptance, an invoice will be issued to the corresponding author, who is responsible for ensuring timely payment. This payment is required to proceed with the publication process.
These APCs are vital to sustaining the journal’s mission of open-access publishing. APC reductions may be granted only in cases of genuine financial hardship. If you are unable to pay the full APC due to financial limitations, please contact AJSR at the time of manuscript submission. Requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and fee reductions may be granted for high-quality papers from authors with limited financial resources. Authors requesting APC reductions may be asked to provide documentation of U.S. free or reduced-price lunch eligibility. Please note that requests for APC reductions will not be considered once a manuscript has been accepted.
If you would like to request a fast-track review for your manuscript, please reach out to us at [email protected], including your manuscript’s submission ID. This option enables us to accelerate the review and publication process, typically around 2 weeks. The fee for a fast-track review is $286 per manuscript.
Please be aware that the Article Processing Charge (APC) and any other fees are non-refundable and may be subject to change.
